Throughout the course of his career, he has closed over 2,500 transactions valued in excess of $6 billion with loan proceeds deployed nationwide ranging from $500,000 to $178 million. As the founder of JL Global Capital, Mr. Lipsey has forged professional relationships encompassing 100+ commercial banks nationwide and in Europe and a client base of more than 1,000 owners and investors. An acknowledged leader in gathering and interpreting proprietary market data, he has consistently been at the forefront of every transaction where price discovery occurs. His mastery stems from an innate ability to identify choke points and formulate creative lending solutions that maximize profits for funding sources as well as borrowers.

Mr. Lipsey launched his professional career with Washington Mutual, where he was involved in multifamily property financing for 1,100 loans totaling more than $1.7 billion. He then went on to serve as a commercial mortgage broker for Marcus & Millichap’s New Jersey office and subsequently joined Berkadia, where he was involved with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and HUD Underwriting.
